In 1857, W.F. Chisholm acquired the Roslin mill-site property on the banks of the Moira River. A flour/feed mill and sawmill was created. Since then, six generations of the Chisholm family have been involved in the lumber business in Roslin.
Today, Chisholm Lumber encompasses a Group of Companies supporting its fully integrated forest products operation.
